Coach's contract not renewed

FRANCISTOWN: The inconsistent Francistown outfit, ECCO City Greens have high hopes of doing well in the ongoing be MOBILE Premier League, despite having parted company with coach Chris Tembo.

Known to their legion of supporters as 'Mamoja Diskie,' the 2007 Mascom Premier League champions and 2007 Coca-Cola Cup runners-up are now perched at position seven in the league after drawing 2-2 with FC Satmos last Saturday.

The club's secretary general, Moses Special shed light on a speculation doing the rounds that they have sacked their former coach (Tembo) who was with the team for just one season. Special said that the only thing they did was not to renew Tembo's contract, which expired this month.
