Chiefs Thrash Happy Hearts

After a sloppy start, Mochudi Centre Chiefs came back strongly in the second half to cruise to a 3-0 victory against a determined Happy Hearts in the Coca-Cola Cup on Saturday at the SSG Ground.

Magosi opened the scoring through Kekaetswe 'Mara' Moloi seven minutes into the second half before catching their inexperienced opponents on a quick counter in the 64th minute, forcing defender Happy Mphengula to concede an own goal.

The Division Two side put up a brave fight after conceding the first goal but cracked after the own goal, giving the likes of Oteng Moalosi and Dirang Moloi a lot of space in midfield. This put the defenders under a lot of pressure.
