Botswana Football Association (BFA) president, Tebogo Sebego has said Peter Butler’s job is safe despite a run of seven competitive matches without a win. Sebego told Mmegi Sport the Englishman was safe and had met their expectations as he rebuilds a squad for the future.

“Butler’s job is not under threat. He has worked hard and met expectations,” Sebego said.

The BFA had asked Butler to reach the group stages of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, which the Briton achieved seamlessly.
