The Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA) will hold an invitational national team selection on Saturday at the BNYC table tennis hall, as the association begins preparations for the African Union Sports Commission (AUSC) Region 5 games that the country hosts in November.

According to BTTA competitions secretary, Kudzanani Motswagole only players who finished in the Top 32 in the last year’s BTTA rankings are invited for the selection tournament.

He said despite the BTTA failing to finish last year’s calendar of events, the tournaments that were played were sufficient for the rankings.
