Botswana will host its first senior COSAFA Castle Cup, with the Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development, Thapelo Olopeng confirming the development yesterday.

The minister wrote on his Facebook page that the COSAFA Cup is coming to Gaborone in 2018, which has excited soccer fans.

“As part of our commitment to grow sport through participation and exposure, I am pleased to inform you that next year, we are going to host the COSAFA Castle Cup here in Gaborone.
