BoBA expected to adopt strategic plan at OGM

The Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA) will be having their Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) tomorrow (Saturday) at the Big Five Lodge in Gaborone with their four-year strategic plan likely to be top of the agenda.

Development Officer Healer Modiradilo who is currently stand-in spokesperson for the association said they are expecting to adopt the strategic plan which was drafted last year at tomorrow's meeting. " We will discuss it with the affiliates and I hope we will be able to adopt it thereafter," Modiradilo said. He said they will also have a chance to update their affiliates about current developments at the association and go through their annual calendar together as they will be having a busy schedule this year and they want affiliates to cooperate maximally.

Meanwhile, another youth development tournament will be held on the same day at Shashe River School in Tonota where schools from the northern region of the country are expected to participate. The first tournament was held in Gaborone last week and it was reportedly a success.
