The Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) chief executive officer (CEO), Percy Raditladi, has reportedly quit his job although the Council has denied the move.

Reports were awash yesterday that Raditladi had resigned. Acting BNSC CEO, Thato Kgosimore said Raditladi was on leave, while the former G4S boss could not comment on the matter. Kgosimore said Raditladi would resume work on August 21. However, reliable sources insisted Raditladi had quit just months after his appointment.Raditladi was appointed CEO in February, replacing Kitso Kemoeng. Meanwhile, BNSC lands and facilities manager, Golesedi Chankuluba has returned to her job after previous suspensions. Chankuluba was banned indefinitely in March after two previous suspensions.

She returned to work last month. It remains unclear if she has been cleared of any wrongdoing.Kgosimore refused to comment saying it was an internal matter. Chankuluba and two subordinates were suspended in December last year on allegations of maladministration. This followed a forensic audit into the operations of the council at the time when Chankuluba was the acting CEO.
