Reikeletseng told a media briefing on Tuesday that the BFA are on course as far as sorting out their accounts is concerned. He said that they have held several meetings with the association and are happy with what they are doing. "We are working with them to ensure that everything is put under normality. They have normalised their operations and we are happy that they are on the right track," he said.
Reikeletseng's assurances should come as a relief to the current BFA leadership led by president, Tebogo Sebego. After being voted into office last year, the current BFA committee immediately fought to restore the BNSC trust. Botswana Football Association's (BFA) accounts have not been properly cleared to allow the association to have total control of funds from the BNSC. This followed a period where the association found itself broke after the Zebras' participation at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals. Following that scary situation, the BNSC then assumed control of the BFA grant.
