BDF XI failed to follow procedure when submitting their case to the sports National Appeals’ Board (NAB) last month and will have to wait a little longer to know if their punishment for taking football matters to court will be reviewed.

NAB secretary, Lincoln Goitsemang explained that the delay in the case has been caused by the fact that they have not received the appeal fee from BDF XI. He said that instead of paying the fee to NAB, BDF XI gave the money to the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC).

“Procedures were not followed. Sports council collected the money and no money was paid to us. We had difficulty processing their appeal because the money never came to us.
