This was echoed on Friday as private education institution, Maru-a-Pula School donated a set of marimba musical instruments to a budding pre-primary and primary education provider, Heaven’s Rainbow Academy in Molepolole. The occasion saw one of the oldest private education providers in Maru-a-Pula collaborating with one of the newest established learning institutions to boost music education in the latter, Heaven's Rainbow.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, the Maru-a-Pula School head, Nicholas Evans said the two education providers share a vision of providing to children of all races, nationalities, and all faiths and this was the root of the partnership. He added that Maru-a-Pula is set up to be an inclusive learning community in a very similar way to Heaven’s Rainbow Academy hence the establishment of the partnership. Evans also said Maru-a-Pula’s donation is part of the school’s initiative to give back to the community programme. “We don't want our students to be separated from their community. We want them to be engaged with them because as the deputy director said the only way in which we can solve problems and support communities is by going to visit them, spend time with them, and being part of those communities,” he said.
