Zimbabwean murder accused set for committal

A case involving Zimbabwean murder accused Anesu Hwenjere (27), who is alleged to have dismembered his cousin last year, is nearing committal to the High Court for trial, with the State saying it is awaiting a psychiatric evaluation report.

Hwenjere is accused of brutally killing his cousin, Victor Mashenge by striking him on the head with a rock at Ramotswa before throwing his body in the pit latrine.

The deceased was eventually buried out without his manhood when the police retrieved his body from a pit latrine.
