Woman nabbed for possession of illicit drug in Tsolamosese

A 28-year-old woman was over the weekend arrested in Tsolamosese, Mogoditshane, after being found in possession of what is suspected to be methcathinone, commonly known as 'cat'.

No.12 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako, confirmed the Saturday evening arrest, saying the suspect was found with 50 grammes of the substance following a police tip-off.

“The methcathinone was wrapped in 19 small sachets, which we strongly suspect were meant for sale.
