A 30-year-old woman is recovering at Princess Marina Hospital after she was scalded with boiling water by a fellow congregant following a dispute at a church in Ramotshaga Ward, Mogoditshane.

Mogoditshane Police Station commander, Superintendent Mbiganyi Letsholathebe, confirmed that they are investigating a case of "assault occasioning actual bodily harm".

He explaine the incident is believed to have occurred in the morning of the same day at Chawa Christian Church, although police only received the report around 9pm on Friday.
