PALAPYE: Lieutenant General Gaolathe Galebotswe, leader of a group that claims legitimate leadership of the Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF), has said they are not entirely against the idea of joining the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC), but they are unhappy with how it is being done.

Galebotswe, who was recently elected interim president of the faction after their former leader, Mephato Reatile, abandoned them and announced his backing for the Lawrence Ookeditse-led faction.

Last weekend, Galebotswe and his team hosted a meeting in Palapye with their followers from various places. He said they had gathered in Palapye to take responsibility for taking the BPF forward and ensuring the events in Serowe are not repeated.
