Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) president, Duma Boko says theiy intend to participate in the development of the country, not oppose for the sake of it.

Speaking at a press conference last Friday, Boko said the UDC parliamentarians will not be criticising programmes that they believe can benefit Batswana.

“Parliament is going to be a battle ground of ideas. It should be understood that we are going to engage the BDP members in a respectful and meaningful manner. We are not going to fight or disrespect other Members of Parliament (MPs) because we are from opposition parties,” Boko said.
