UDC to vet unity negotiators

The opposition cooperation talks might take a while to kick-start, as the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) is yet to vet negotiators, Staff Writer TSAONE BASIMANEBOTLHE reports

Opposition talks were supposed to begin in April, but vetting is still to take place.

“UDC is made up of three parties which are the Botswana National Front (BNF), the Botswana People’s Party (BPP) and the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD). These parties have brought names to the UDC office and therefore our office will sit down and decide on the names of who will represent it.
