UB goes back to old logo

The University of Botswana (UB) Council has resolved to revert to its old logo that was adopted in the 80s when the institution was opened to the public for the first time.

A Savingram circulated to staff, titled, ‘Decisions of Council taken on 13th June 2014’, the Council also states that the institution decided to increase university salaries and allowances by 4 percent across the board with effect from April 1. 

“Council has decided to revert to the University of Botswana founding logo and to using the original UB ceremonial gowns for the Chancellor, Chairperson of Council and the Vice Chancellor.”
