Olithas Funeral Parlour will keep custody of 81-year old Mmau Ntshoma’s body until Justice David Newman of Gaborone High Court on Friday resolves the dispute around his burial place.

On of Ntshoma’s wives, Tlhalefang Modise had planned burying the aged security guard on Saturday in Mogoditshane, but his family in Lerala moved swiftly to apply for interdiction.  The deceased’s children approached the court arguing that only his blood relatives are entitled to burying him.

They asked the court to direct Olithas Funeral Parlour to release the deceased’s body to the applicants (children) for burial.
