The organisers of the Sir Seretse Khama Commemoration Marathon have issued a SOS call to the corporate world in a bid to land sponsorship. The first instalment of the Sir Seretse Khama Commemoration Marathon will be in Serowe on June 28 and 29.

The marathon coordinator, Botshelo Nthaga, told MmegiSport this week that the Sir Seretse Khama Commemoration Marathon is more than just a sporting event. He said it is a tribute to the country’s founding president whilst also presenting both business and sporting benefits for the area.

The Sir Seretse Khama Commemoration Marathon will feature the 5km, 10km, and 21km race categories inviting runners from diverse backgrounds to participate.
