According to Tatitown acting station commander, Assistant Superintendent Jaloni Somolekae, the fatal accident claimed the lives of a man, 36, and a woman aged 38.
He said that the deceased were passengers in a Hyundai car. He stated that the accident involved the Hyundai and a horse and trailer. The vehicles were all travelling in the same direction from West to East towards Francistown, he added. The Tatitown acting police boss indicated that the Hyundai had four occupants including the driver, while two people were travelling on the horse and trailer. "The Hyundai driver and one passenger together with horse and trailer occupants escaped death and sustained minor injuries, " he said.
