A 24-year-old woman from Tutume village, who was residing in Mogoditshane, has died in what police suspect to be a failed abortion attempt.

The tragic incident occurred last Saturday at the deceased’s rented house in Mogoditshane, Block 9. Confirming the incident, No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako, said the deceased was discovered by her neighbour after she had heard screaming from her house.

“The neighbour said she heard the woman screaming and asked if she was okay. The deceased responded that she was fine, but later went quiet for some time, which made the neighbour concerned,” Sebako said.
