Police in Mahalapye are investigating a suspected suicide case after a traditional doctor was found hanging from a tree in the outskirts of Tewane village on Saturday.

Mahalapye Central Assistant Police Station Commander, Assistant Superintendent Malakia Gabana, confirmed the incident, stating that the deceased, a native of Serowe, was discovered in a decomposed state after being reported missing for four days.

Gabana said the man allegedly left home whilst visibly troubled and failed to return, forcing concerned family members to report his disappearance to the police.
