A one-year-old boy tragically lost his life in Metsimotlhabe after he allegedly fell and got trapped in a 20-litre bucket filled with water in the back of a house. According to the police, the child was playing with another one-year-old when the incident occurred.

After the children had been quiet for some time, the deceased’s mother and the other child’s mother became concerned and started looking for them around the yard.

Their search ended in tragedy when they found the boy’s legs hanging outside the bucket, whilst his upper body was submerged in the water.
