They will be fired - Tsimako

Police officers who accept bribes from traffic offenders have no place in the police force and will be dismissed if caught, Police Commissioner, Thebeyame Tsimako, has said.

Addressing a press conference held at Police Headquarters in Gaborone, Tsimako, cautioned drivers from "dangling temptations that are hard to resist to officers" when caught on the roads.

Tsimako was announcing the 60 Days of Action to curb road accidents so as to reduce the number of people who die on the roads.
