Thamaga BNF candidate cleared of theft charges

The Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) parliamentary candidate for Thamaga/Kumakwane, Kopano Rannatshe has finally being cleared from the offence of theft common that he was likely to face.

Rannantshe was early this year detained by police at Thamaga police cells for theft common and malice damage to property. 

He was detained together with three others after they were alleged to have broken into and stolen concrete from a yard belonging to his opponent in the general elections, Tshenolo Mabeo of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP).
