Teenage girl ends life using school belt

Goodhope police are investigating a suspected suicide incident that occurred at Motlobo village, in which a 17-year-old girl was found dead.

Goodhope Police Station commander, Superintendent Mogogi Mathaba, said the tragedy occurred on Friday following an episode that upset the deceased.

According to Mathaba, the deceased had been cleaning the house earlier that day when a disagreement arose after her cousin accidentally spilt sugar. It is alleged that the teenager reacted angrily by taking food from the cousin and throwing it away.
