Taxi man robbed, car stolen

A 36-year-old taxi driver of Mahalapye was recently robbed and his car stolen after a man hailed a ride to Flowertown on 'special', a premium rate.

No16 district officer commanding, Senior Superintendent Nicholas Kadiatla, said investigations on the matter are ongoing to locate the stolen Madza Demio.

Kadiatla stated that when narrating his plight, the taxi driver said when he was on his way to drop off the customer at Flowertown, on their way, he instructed him to stop and give another man who was by the roadside a lift.
