FRANCISTOWN: A 24-year-old woman from Serowe has said an unknown man attacked her while walking to a bar, in the company of her friend, and raped her.

Confirming the incident, No 2 District officer commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said the incident took place on Saturday at around 11:01pm. On their way to a local bar, the duo was attacked by an unknown man and they ran for their lives, he said.

Unfortunately, Oketsang indicated that the victim tried to escape but the unknown suspect managed to catch to her. He then dragged her to nearby bushes where he sexually forced himself on her.
