Former Botswana Softball Association (BSA) president, Tirelo Mukokomani pulled a massive win against Katlholo Mosimanegape during an elective Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Mahalapye over the weekend.

Mukokomani received 17 votes against seven that were cast for the outgoing Mosimanegape. Masego Kwape, who was to be a third candidate for the presidential position was not nominated. Speaking to SportMonitor, Mukokomani said he has never really left softball.

He was the chairperson for the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women’s Softball Africa qualifiers that were hosted in Gaborone in February 2023.
