Situation Improves At Kalamare School

Ten new cases of pupils collapsing in Kalamare Primary School were recorded since the Zion Christian Church (ZCC) performed a cleansing ceremony in July 3, bringing the total number of affected learners to 33.

No male pupils have been affected in this development, Principal Education Officer for the region, Kenneth Habana, says.
Despite the growth in cases, Habana said there has been a remarkable change, evidenced by a reduction in the duration taken for collapsed pupil to regain consciousness.

"Before they usually took three hours or more in that state, but ever since ZCC intervened it lasts for five to 10 minutes," he said.
