Police said they received a report of the fight at around 8pm and arrived at the popular Khina Dipodi shebeen to find the victim with a stab wound on the shoulder.

No: 2 Police District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said the duo allegedly got into a misunderstanding that led to the fight and the suspect, who is still at large, stabbed the victim with a sharp object.

“The suspect fled the crime scene following the injury. Investigations into the matter are ongoing to locate and arrest the suspect for a grievous bodily harm charge. The victim was referred to Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital where he remains in stable but serious condition,” he said.
