Serowe police probe woman's fatal stabbing by boyfriend

Police in Serowe are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 34-year-old woman in Makolojwane ward, allegedly by her boyfriend, using a sharp object.

Confirming the incident, Serowe Police Commander, Superintendent Poloko Oteng, said they received the report on Friday, whilst preliminary findings suggest the attack occurred in the early hours of the morning. Oteng added that investigators are still working to establish what led to the fight between the couple.

A 43-year-old man, believed to be the deceased’s boyfriend, has been arrested and is in police custody, assisting with investigations.
