Ramadeluka 'Ndelu' Seretse has experienced the first blow of backlash with some of his backers decamping to Kgotla Autlwetse's side.

Four councillors from the Seretse camp have defected to Autlwetse’s in protest at the decision by the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) to once again re-run the primaries that the latter won with a large margin.

Councillors who have decamped from the Minister of Defence, Justice and Security are Mpho Kooreme of Swaneng ward, Solomon Dikgang of Tidimalo, Gaolese Oduetse of Newtown and Robert Mariba of Motetshwane ward.
