Seragi stays at GCC

Gaborone City Clerk, Agnes Seragi, is going nowhere and will remain in her position as the Gaborone city clerk, according to council sources.

Seragi fought against her transfer to the Kweneng District Council last year. Seragi appealed to the authorities who upheld her appeal. She has been at the helm of GCC since 2008. 

At the time of her impending transfer, Wadza Tema was appointed the new GCC city clerk. Because Seragi refused to move, there have been two city clerks at the GCC.
