No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako, said the incident was reported around 1am after a passerby discovered the victim lying by the roadside and alerted the police.
“Although we don't know exactly what transpired, we suspect that the victim may have been walking along the roadside or attempting to cross when he was hit by the vehicle,” he said.
