Pregnant woman faces murder of boyfriend

A heavily pregnant woman, Kitso Mokonopi appeared before village Magistrate court this morning charged with the murder of her boyfriend.

According to the charge sheet, Mokonopi is accused of stabbing her lover with a sharp object at their home in Block 8 Gaborone last Friday.

Whilst details of the incident are yet to be shared with court, as the matter is still fresh, when asked by the senior Village Magistrate, Tshepo Thedi if she has anything to say, Mokonopi requested for bail citing that she has a doctor's appointment.
