Police probe alleged thief's death after Molepolole attack

A 25-year-old man from Masuaditshwene ward in Molepolole was brutally attacked and fatally beaten by an angry mob on Friday night.

The Monitor learnt that the victim, described as a 'habitual thief,' was caught red-handed in the act of stealing, prompting the furious mob to take justice into their own hands, leaving him lifeless in the street.

Molepolole Police Station Commander, Superintendent Benedict Matlho, confirmed that they are actively investigating a murder case following the incident.
