The robbers, who reportedly threatened the workers with what appeared to be a firearm and sharp objects, tied the attendants’ hands and legs using shoelaces before raiding the premises.
Sojwe Police Station commander, Superintendent Busang Malope, said officers on routine patrol became suspicious after noticing unusual inactivity at the filling station.
The sight of submerged yards and closed roads is an inconvenience and a clear sign that the capital’s water passages pose a problem to residents.
