Police investigate suspicious death after Maun 'mob attack'

Police in Maun are investigating a suspected murder after a 37-year-old man from Gwexwa cattle post, near Komana village, died under mysterious circumstances following an alleged mob assault.

Maun Police Station commander, Superintendent Joseph Lepodise, said the incident was reported on Saturday around 1:01 am by a police officer stationed in Komana.

The officer was alerted after the man was found by the roadside with visible injuries.
