FRANCISTOWN: Gerald police are on the lookout for a man who allegedly murdered three of his sons (filicide) in Tati Siding, Mmoroso ward.

Officer Commanding No.1 Police District, Senior Superintendent Paul Molapise told Mmegi Online the incident happened early this morning.

He said that the three boys, who were primary school pupils, ages 13, 10, and eight, were discovered with deep cuts. According to police reports, the father and sons had gone to bed as usual with nothing amiss.

Reports further suggest that medical practitioners at Tati Siding Clinic certified the boys dead upon arrival.

Molapise indicated that the children lived with their paternal grandmother along with their father, while their mother resides in Francistown.

“The father has since fled home and we are still searching for him. We are also yet to locate the mother who stays in Francistown,” he added.
