Broadhurst Magistrate's Court, Principal Magistrate Tshelo Magetse has ordered the Gaborone West Police Station to appear before court to explain why they have not apprehended a man accused of harassing and cyberbullying Bopilo Phatsimo, popularly known as Dolly Doll Disele on Facebook.

The order follows allegations that Thulaganyo Pency Moremedi has, since 2020, subjected Phatsimo to persistent online harassment, threats, and stalking through his personal and multiple pseudonymous social media accounts. The accounts allegedly used include names such as Petkov, Moskovic Gaz, Slavic Trading, Euro-African Trading, Kgosikgolo Bogatsu VI, PetroGaz, Imex, and IndoSuez. The court has instructed the police to secure the respondent’s attendance when the matter returns on March 4.

Phatsimo has approached the court seeking an interdict against Moremedi, accusing him of threatening, stalking, and abusing her and her children through various online platforms. Court papers allege that the respondent used insulting, demeaning, and unfounded language against Phatsimo and her late mother, including accusations of prostitution.
