Parly wildlife committee visits CBNRM trusts

The Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Wildlife, Tourism, Natural Resources and Climate Change will be taking their consultative meetings in different areas to check on Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) trusts.

They will also visit their projects in Gantsi, Ngami and Chobe.  The committee is made up of the chairperson, Itumeleng Moipisi, Paulson Majaga, Machana Shamukuni, Kagiso Molatlhegi, Sethomo Lelatisitswe, Tawana Moremi, Wynter Mmolotsi and Bagalatia Arone.

The committee’s responsibilities are to exercise parliamentary oversight and scrutiny over government ministries, departments and agencies with portfolio responsibilities in respect of tourism, natural resources, minerals, energy, water, environment and climate change.
