MVAF 'fetes' F/town stakeholders

FRANCISTOWN: Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (MVAF) chief executive officer (CEO) Cross Kgosidiile has told stakeholders in Francistown that the MVAF Act of 2007 will deliver some changes and broaden the Act to encompass issues of road safety.

Speaking at a dinner hosted for the stakeholders who included the traffic police, doctors, media, Botswana Post, Department of Transport and Road Safety, paramedics and others, Kgosidiile said the origin of the MVAF Act dates back to around 1986.

He told the stakeholders that the new Act would emphasise road safety and rehabilitation of victims of road accidents.

Don't let FMD outbreak drag on
