Motorist sustains serious injuries in A1 accident

A 30-year-old male motorist is hospitalised at Gaborone Private Hospital where he is receiving medical care following an accident on the A1 Highway on Sunday morning.

The single vehicle crash involving a Madza Demio occurred around 4am near Ditladi lands. No.12 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Berman July, said the young man was driving alone from north to south of the country at the time of the accident.

"The driver allegedly lost control of his vehicle after overtaking a horse and trailer truck and hit some cattle on the roadside," he said.
