Moshoke to face the music

Opposition leader Duma Bokos bodyguard Elliot Moshoke will face the charges of causing a threat-to-kill to the Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS) boss Isaac Kgosi after his application of quashing the charge was dismissed.

However, the bodyguard, through his attorneys, Antony Monamo and Dick Bayford, applied for the charges to be quashed.

According to the charge sheet, Moshoke, on or about April 2014, at Extension II, Gaborone, without lawful excuse, caused Kgosi to indirectly receive a threat on his life in that he uttered the following words: “I personally send a warning that should anything happen to Boko, there will be a bloodbath among the families of responsible people.
