More rains expected as season ends

The country will once more experience normal to above normal chances of rainfall this last part of the rainfall season, the Department of Meteorological Services has forecast.

"An updated seasonal forecast for the last part of the rainfall season thus, January to March indicates that the country is expected to receive normal to above normal rainfall," said Thabang Botshoma, the Acting Director of Department of Meteorological Services.

He said that from the reviews of the global climate systems and analysis of the rainfall prospects, they have concluded that the end of the season will be a rainy one.
