Kasane Police Station commander, Superintendent James Maabong, said search operations have been ongoing since Friday in the river channels and surrounding islands at the Chobe–Zambezi river junction.
“Since Friday, we have been searching for the missing man, and on Sunday, whilst the search was still in progress, his belongings were found by the riverbank. The items included a pair of trousers, a jacket, and a mobile phone," he said.
