Minister Makgato snubs threat-to-kill suspect

The Minister of Health and Wellness, Dorcas Makgato, has rejected the request made by threat-to-kill suspect, Wazha Tombo, for a reconciliation meeting. The request was made through court.

Prosecutor, Onkemetse Modukanele, told the court that minister Makgato refused to meet and reconcile with the suspect as had requested.

“I have information from the Investigating Officer (IO) that the minister is not willing to meet and reconcile, therefore we are ready to forward the matter to DPP for further prosecution,” Modukanele said.
