Mmipi said that it would not be right to name and label those who owe as they have individually signed contracts with all their clients, including government departments. “We cannot name those who owe, but yes we are owed a lot of money by different schools, hospitals, clinics, and many other different government offices and we are doing all we can to get our money back. We have been appealing to all our customers that have outstanding bills to clear them for a while now. We have since resolved to disconnect all those who owe,” said Mmipi. The exercise commenced at the beginning of this year and we will continue until all monies are recovered, she stressed.
However, she said that there are places where they have to be sensitive and find alternatives other than disconnecting them.
