Just a week after police in Mogoditshane arrested a 32-year-old man of Bokaa Ward for possession of dagga weighing three kilogrammes and sachets of methcathinone (commonly known as Cat), another suspect has been nabbed in connection with illicit substances.

This time, a 42-year-old man from Metsimotlhabe was arrested after he was allegedly found in possession of sachets of a white substance suspected to be Cat, as well as boxes of Chelsea cigarettes, which are prohibited in Botswana.

Confirming the arrest, Mogoditshane Police Station commander, Superintendent Mbiganyi Letsholathebe, said officers acted on a tip-off that the suspect might be dealing in drugs.
